OBJECTIVE

Life Operations Analyst/Coordinator Objective

To represent Life Operations on corporate and department projects, including testing and testing coordination, procedures, and training. To prepare, document, and conduct training on department functions for department users. To review procedures and workflows and make recommendations for improvements, including business specifications and cost benefit analysis. To perform quality control and periodically audit Life Operations functions to ensure accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Life Operations Analyst/Coordinator Responsibilities

Obtain an in-depth knowledge of departmental processing methods, industry standards and regulations, procedures, and Farm Bureau product lines and software.

 

Participate in ongoing corporate and departmental projects, including managing sub-teams as needed. Learn to test and coordinate testing to ensure a smooth implementation of changes. Develop a communication process for project status and progress for management and other affected personnel.

 

Learn to build effective procedures for department and other users. Build a process to prepare, document, and maintain up-to-date procedural documents on an ongoing basis.

 

Learn to prepare, document, and conduct training for department and company users. Provide training support for in-house classes as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Life Operations Analyst/Coordinator Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required.

 

Bachelor’s degree preferred with focus on insurance, business administration, finance, management, or systems development life cycle (SDLC).

 

Three to four years of experience in insurance domain environment required.

 

Experienced computer usage and proven skills in Microsoft Office required.

 

Willingness to pursue continuing job-related training and education required.

 

Designations in AINS, API or AU required, or actively being pursued.

 

Preferred

Experience in process improvement preferred.

 

Professional accomplishments in AICPCU programs preferred.
