Associate Business and Technical Analyst Objective
To analyze the existing or ideal organization and design of systems, including business, departments and organizations, as well as assess business models and their integration with technology. To support the operating efficiency and excellence of the organization through business analysis. To understand customer business requirements and business process management. To elicit requirements from business users, then translate these needs into software requirements. To manage and provide solutions to business ideas, trends and concepts appropriately through technology paths.
Associate Business and Technical Analyst Responsibilities
Facilitate and lead sessions with business/product owners, subject matter experts, and technical representatives to elicit and document requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and task and workflow analysis.
Assist with driving and challenging business areas on their assumptions and the successful execution of their plans.
Assist with cost/benefit analysis (CBA) and return on investment (ROI) analysis to justify requests for changes from business areas.
Associate Business and Technical Analyst Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
Strong analytical and product management skills required.
Proven ability to interact professionally in diverse groups of executives, managers, project team participants and subject matter experts.
Preferred
Coursework in business analysis preferred.
Experience and knowledge of project management techniques preferred.
Technical background and understanding of applications preferred.
Experience participating in small to medium sized projects preferred.
