Health Sales Agent (Southwest) Objective
To sell and provide marketing support for Medicare and Individual Health benefits offered by Farm Bureau Health Services, a division of Community Service Acceptance Company (CSAC) (aka FB Partners Group) including, but not limited to, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplemental products. To maintain an understanding of the Individual Qualified Health Benefit Program offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM), Priority Health and additional carriers. To assist Farm Bureau members, prospects and staff in enrolling in health plans. To maintain a working knowledge of health sales and commissions in the defined market area.
Health Sales Agent (Southwest) Responsibilities
Sell Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplemental plans to those over the age of 65, focusing in specified counties. Manage books of business in both groups for all products sold and serviced by Farm Bureau Health Insurance. Assist in the sales and servicing of the Individual Qualified Health Plan market.
Work closely with management to develop a marketing plan to increase Medicare business within Farm Bureau including prospecting, educational seminars, enrollment seminars, and execution of sales to members to increase revenue.
Provide service for existing Medigap Supplemental and dental subscribers and assist them in plan changes and coverage questions.
Become an expert and key resource for information for the Medicare product lines sold by CSAC's carriers.
Interact with the managing agency to submit applications, become more educated, and obtain necessary materials and training to stay up to date on all lines of health insurance markets.
