Project Manager Objective
To lead, oversee, and ensure the successful delivery and management of projects. To define, schedule, control, and adjust all tasks and workloads. To guide and ensure the project is adhering to the project management best practices as defined in the Program/Project Management Plan. To manage project issues and risks while ensuring that customer expectations are managed, and project commitments are met.
Project Manager Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
Manage scope, budget, issues, risks, changes, deliverables, communications, quality, and schedules for projects.
Manage and report project financials against assigned budgets.
Engage with project sponsors, key stakeholders, end users, business leadership, Information Technology, and vendors.
Escalate and clearly document issues and risks that will impact project timeline, scope, quality, and financials by providing analysis of project impacts to stakeholders.
Project Manager Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance. or other related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum four years of experience in project management required.
Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
