OBJECTIVE

Commercial Package Policy New Business Coordinator Objective

To provide system and product support to our Farm Bureau agents and their staff when writing new commercial accounts in our Commercial Package Policy (CPP) program in Guidewire through a commercial help desk.  To provide exceptional customer service, effectively build relationships, and communicate directly with Agencies and underwriting in writing new accounts and maintaining current accounts.  To provide technical support on Guidewire systems for commercial accounts with the needs of agents and individual clients in focus. 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Package Policy New Business Coordinator Responsibilities

To be a trusted resource for Agents and their staff by maintaining a high level of knowledge of our commercial systems and products 
 
Field communications from agents and their staff regarding new commercial business for systems and product questions 
 
Help support agents and their staff regarding system best practices workflow for commercial accounts.  Provide support to work units as a communication channel for account review. 
 
Assist agents and their staff in learning the commercial systems by working through quotes and educating them on the systems, including where to find coverages, endorsements, proper classification, and other necessary underwriting items. 
 
Assist agents and their staff with locating checklists, supplements, and commercial resources, including commercial systems and commercial product guides.  Provide clear expectations to agents on information needed to submit an account. 
 
Assist agents and staff with common system blockers.  
 
Identify system-generated errors that need to be cleared by underwriting and assist the agent with resolving those errors. Provide updated reporting and guidance to product owners to log and resolve system issues. 
 
Identify risks requiring underwriting evaluation and approval due to blockers above the agent's quoting and binding authority. 
 
Review currently quoted accounts for accuracy and system blockers 
 
Assist agents and their staff in the binding process for Farm Bureau commercial cases. 
 
Assist the Commercial Sales Account Coordinator team with overflow when time permits, including niche market program quoting. 
 
Be a commercial product and systems resource to the Field Marketing and Sales Team.  Provide guidance on account placement with Farm Bureau Partners Group when appropriate. 
 
Stay current on commercial data systems and product changes. Identify areas for improvement to systems and processes.   
 
Provide assistance as requested on company projects related to Guidewire systems. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Commercial Package Policy New Business Coordinator Qualifications

 

Required

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience may be considered. 

 

Three to five years of commercial insurance sales or support experience required.  

 

Experienced computer usage and proven skills in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required. 

 

Keyboarding skills of 60 wpm with accuracy required.  

 

Active property/casualty license required or must be successfully obtained within 90 days of employment. 

 

Preferred

Knowledge and ability to utilize Agency Management System preferred.  

 

Certification in CIC, CISR or AINS, AU or equivalent preferred.
