Marketing Data Analyst Objective

To drive successful organizational performance and improvements through Marketing data analysis, including contacts throughout the entire enterprise. To help create effective business models and their integration with technology and to support business outcomes through data. To ensure accurate data by performing data quality analysis and researching data issues. To support critical thinking to make necessary decisions and recommendations. To understand user and customer needs and business goals and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver results that meet those needs.

Marketing Data Analyst Reponsibilities

Support division and organizational needs related to enterprise contact data and data analysis using various data tools such as SQL server management studio.

Establish data quality analysis functions, testing for accuracy and completeness. Research and resolve any data anomalies. Communicate data issues and recommended solutions to management.

Serve as the business technical Subject Matter Expert to assist with design, development, and maintenance of contact data throughout the enterprise systems. Represent the area as a Data Steward by participating on various corporate and department projects to ensure data availability, completeness, and accuracy.

Assist in providing insights and support for all system data and database queries within Marketing.  Present raw findings, as well as interpretations and recommendations based on analysis of the data.

Marketing Data Analyst Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree required with focus on data analytics, finance, computer science, or statistics, or equivalent experience may be considered.

Minimum of four years of data analysis required with at least one year of ETL required.

Minimum of one year Property/Casualty insurance experience or equivalent position required. 

Database query and report writing experience required.

Experience working on an agile team required.

Working knowledge of system design concepts and platform required.

Willingness to pursue continuing job-related training and education required.

Preferred

SQL query and report writing experience preferred.
