Associate Account Manager Objective
To implement the Great Lakes Ag Labor Services, LLC (GLALS) H-2A Temporary Worker
program and assist Farm Bureau members with program participation with a goal of ensuring adequate labor for farms and program compliance.
Associate Account Manager Responsibilities
Assist in identifying prospective growers willing and able to participate in the federal H-2A Temporary Worker program.
Participate in prospective clients Management Reviews, when assigned. Assist the GLALS Management team in evaluating client eligibility for program participation.
Assist GLALS clients in performing all required tasks through the federal H-2A program. Work with clients to draft H-2A contracts and complete H-2A program applications, required paperwork, and reporting requirements to meet deadlines.
Associate Account Manager Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in agribusiness, agri-communications, or general business required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
One to three years of experience filing applications under the federal H- 2A program required.
Knowledge of general labor laws and regulations required. Experienced computer usage in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), project management software and Internet required.
Knowledge of agriculture-industry required. Spanish speaking comprehension and translation required.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel required.
Testing of knowledge and proficiency in Excel or other computer software may be required.
Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred
Experience in customer service preferred.
Experience working for or serving in a volunteer capacity for a nonprofit organization preferred.
