Michigan Ag in the Classroom Specialist Objective
To manage the FARM Crate program logistics, including promotion, communication with internal and external customers, supply procurement, printing and the packing process. To manage the Michigan Agriculture in the Classroom online store for order fulfilment, FARM Crate ordering, and store ordering and restocking. To assist in the marketing efforts of the Michigan Agriculture in the Classroom programs with members and external school-related audiences. To represent Michigan Agriculture in the Classroom with internal and external stakeholders.
Michigan Ag in the Classroom Specialist Responsibilities
Manage the Michigan Agriculture in the Classroom (MIAITC) online store, and work with the Farm Bureau warehouse staff and P&E Department to assure adequate inventory maintenance. Maintain accurate financial records and submit appropriate reports to program manager and accounting departments.
Manage the FARM Crate ordering and fulfilment processes, including development of promotional materials and promotion plans for internal and external audiences, supply procurement and material printing, staffing, shipping and communication with customers.
Oversee the temporary staff for FARM Crate fulfillment, including training, scheduling, preparations for packing and oversight of packing and assembly.
Michigan Ag in the Classroom Specialist Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in education required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
Two years volunteer and educational experience required.
Willingness to pursue continuing job-related training and education required.
Customer service, project, or event management required.
Experience working in multi-staffed office environment required.
Experience with data collection, management and reporting required.
Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
