OBJECTIVE

Statutory Risk and Compliance Coordinator Objective

To assist with the ongoing support of various governance and risk programs and in performing control and risk reviews. To support the maintenance of the enterprise economic capital model. To assist with the enterprise business continuity and contract and vendor management programs. To maintain and coordinate the Anti-Money Laundering and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) programs. To administer Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) correspondence and the billing compliance manual for Farm Bureau Insurance Companies. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Statutory Risk and Compliance Coordinator Responsibilities

Assist with the maintenance of the billing compliance manual for P/C, ensuring compliance with billing related rules and regulations. 

 

Administer DIFS correspondence on behalf of Farm Bureau Insurance Companies.

 

Assist with the organization and maintenance of the Contract and Vendor Management program for the Farm Bureau Family of Companies. Act as the administrator for the program, helping ensure its overall success.

 

Support the onboarding process for new vendors, including risk and financial reviews. Partner with the Legal department and IT to coordinate the review of new and renewal contracts. Represent the contract and vendor management program throughout the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Statutory Risk and Compliance Coordinator Qualifications

Required

Associate degree in business administration, accounting, or similar field required, or equivalent experience may be considered.

 

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.

 

Preferred

Two to four years of relevant experience in the financial field required. Model Audit Rule or Sarbanes Oxley experience preferred.

 

Experience working with enterprise risk management, contract and vendor management, and internal controls preferred.

 

Experience with both property/casualty and life/annuity insurance products or operations preferred.

 

Willingness to pursue continuing job-related training and education preferred.
