Manager, Life & Annuity Field Sales Objective
Manage the planning, development and execution of the life an annuity field sales support services through a life and annuity “center of excellence” within Marketing. To be responsible for the development and maintenance of one set of life and annuity product, compliance and sales reference documents, training aids/materials and marketing materials for the organization and field force to support the company’s overall sales objectives. To develop and manage processes and interactions with agents to ensure agents have the information needed to develop appropriate sales opportunities, illustrations and cases, applications are in good working order and claims are handled timely and efficiently. To work with the life processing team to ensure life and annuity cases and claims are issued accurately and in a timely fashion. Emphasis on developing and maintaining knowledge tools and leveraging AI technology to capture historical and current product knowledge, accessible by FB staff and the agency force.
Manager, Life & Annuity Field Sales Responsibilities
Manage the planning, development and execution of the life an annuity field sales support services.
Participate as a Marketing Division representative, team member, or project leader, on key corporate life insurance and annuity projects. Represent both Home Office and Field Force marketing interests on assigned corporate projects. Establish and monitor division workflow, assignments and resources to ensure timely completion of the project.
Oversee new life an annuity product development, product and policyholder service enhancements, and product pricing efforts working in collaboration with the life company management team.
Manager, Life & Annuity Field Sales
Required
Bachelor's degree in marketing, insurance or business, or related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum five years of experience in life insurance, annuity sales, or management required.
Must be a licensed producer for Life and Annuity sales and compliant with Annuity Best Interest CE completion.
Working knowledge of various approaches to the marketing, sales and distribution of life insurance, annuity and equity-based products required. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of life insurance, annuities and equity-based required.
Active State of Michigan insurance license in Life required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
Preferred
Designation(s) in CLU, ChFC, FLMI or LIC preferred.
